About Labyrinth Lake Lodge

The Wind Down takes over Labyrinth Lake Lodge, a private lakeside property near Gwynne, Alberta — about an hour southeast of Edmonton via Highway 2 and Highway 13. The grounds are compact: you can walk from one end of the site to the other in about five minutes, so nothing is ever far away. The property is also the landowner's year-round home, and the residence area is off limits to attendees.

The lake itself is off limits to everyone — no swimming or boating. It's a weedy wetland full of wildlife, and the shoreline is roped off and monitored for everyone's safety.

Camping at Labyrinth Lake Lodge

Camping is included with your festival ticket, with dedicated zones marked on the site map: family camping near the Kids Zone, quiet camping for early sleepers, general camping, 18+ camping, and artist camping. Arrive Thursday with an Early Entry pass for the best pick of spots. No wood-burning campfires — self-contained, supervised propane fire pits only, plus community fire pits at each stage.

Site amenities & services
